Drowning by Peyton Vincent

She stands alone in the corner
The other kids laugh and play
She is huddled in her cloud of sadness
She can feel herself getting smaller
The other kids pay no mind
She is decaying, dying inside slowly sinking
The other kids are happy and healthy

She is in pain, agony now drowning in the ocean of the world
There are no lifeguards there to save her
No life jackets
She is fully consumed in the weight of the water
She drowned, she’s gone
